Dr. Grace Israel is an internationally certified educator who has a Ph.D in English and Early Learning Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education, USA. She is also a Certified Memory Expert, Parenting Coach and a Professional Language & Phonics Trainer.
Based on her years of teaching Language and Phonics in both, corporate and school settings, she has formulated a simple step-by-step multisensorial phonics curriculum that uses a combination of Synthetic Phonics and Phonemic Awareness. As a huge advocate of FUN-based learning, she uses a good dose of silliness so children find it irresistible to learn sounds and spelling rules. She also uses memory hacks to help children store information in their long-term memory.
Her main goal apart from helping children learn to read is to help them fall in love with reading, so they can grow up to be lifelong readers!

‘We Can Read’ Phonics program is a FUN-based Phonics curriculum that uses a multisensorial approach to learning! It is divided into two levels–
- Level 1 is designed to help children between ages 3-5 learn to read using the 26 letter sounds and 24 frequently-used sight words in English.
- WCR-Phonics Level 2 is designed to help children who have already started to read using the 26 letter sounds in English. In this program, children will learn digraphs and important spelling rules.
Children begin with learning to read using the 26 letter sounds and 24 Sight words in our Phonics Level 1 program and then move on to digraphs and important spelling rules in our Phonics Level 2 program. Since sounds and rules are introduced in a sequential way, children will start reading within 2-3 weeks of starting our program! By the time children complete our program, they will be able to read at grade level or even a couple of grades higher.
