Recently, we bought play tapes from amazon for our 2-year-old son who is a typical car-crazy child and I cannot tell you how much fun, creativity and imagination this simple buy has given our little one.

We mapped out roads around our house, added their names, threw in some DIY traffic signs and used blocks for buildings.

Apart from driving around on familiar roads and visiting real places such as shops, gas stations and parks, our little one is so particular about following road signs!

If you too are planning to get the play tapes, it doesn’t matter if you go a little overboard like us and turn your space into a little town or only tape the play tapes to a small portion of the floor in your child’s room or to flattened cardboard boxes.

Things You Will Need:

1. Printer.
2. Paper.
3. Laminator.
4. Laminating Pouches.
5. Scissors.
6. Clothespin.
7. Stirrer/Straws/Skewer
8. Play Dough or Thermocol Cubes

Instruction:

1. Print, laminate and cut out the road and street name signs.
2. Either use clothespin or tape stirrers/straws/skewers to the back of the road/street name sign and use dough or thermocol cubes to hold them down.
